As Lead Commercial Specialist Randal Hagen plays a critical role on The Scott Varley Team. With an extensive background in financial analysis, consulting and investments, Randal understands the realities and dynamics of cash flow, profit-and-loss and balance sheets. He can crunch the numbers and project returns for buyers, sellers and lease-holders across all real estate classes including commercial, multi-family rental, business or any combination. He works with both personal buyers and institutional investors.
Originally from Syracuse, Randal has been a Saratoga Springs resident since 2014. He retired from the US Army after 21 years, serving both Active Duty and Reserves. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from SUNY Empire State College. Post college he worked in finance as an on-site retirement consultant for hospitals across the Capital District.
On a personal note: Randal is the proud father of two sons, Joseph and Thomas, and loving husband to his wife Katie. He enjoys restaurants, coaching his sons, cooking, and travel.
